As a non-profit all-volunteer organization, SFB carries out the Slow Food mission on a local level. We advocate sustainability and bio-diversity through educational events, and promote the consumption of seasonal and local foods and the support of those who produce them. We also just like to eat wonderful food, something we do a lot of at our events.

Slow Food USA currently boasts more than 225 chapters and 26,000 members stretching across almost every state in the country.
